I agree Bute needs to step it up. But on the other hand I see why it's tempting for him to sit back and rake in money fighting whoever he wants in Quebec.
And I keep thinking to myself.... When will Bute quit fighting bums and fight someone relevant for once.....
oh no you didn't!!! i remember you claiming how andrade beat him the first time and that in the rematch andrade would win and we all know what happened.

Rum, youre completely wrong. I predicted Bute to win a UD. Back track the old threads from the other forum before the rematch and you'll find it.
but you were complaining about the first fight and even if you had the right to do so....is andrade a BUM?

I did complain about the first fight because the Ref was obviously trying to buy Bute time after he was dropped. Who ever thought Marlon Wrights Officiating of that fight was good is completely full of shit.
Andrade However is a good fighter, but nothing special. Andrade and Bika are his only good wins and those wins are not even enough for him to deserve that #1 Ranking the Ring game him in their rankings.
I stand by my statement. Bute has fought a bunch of bums.

Who is he supposed to fight??? super 6 guys are tied up. They never invited him. Kessler is out but has medical issues.

It's Diego, he knocks everyone's hustle. He's the perennial little brother.
Youre partially right, but Im at least reasonable about my stance (unlike 90% of the poster over at ESPN). You may disagree, but I put up evidence behind point of view. Bute had the oppertunity to face Pascal, but turned it down and took on some "contender" bum. Now we have to live with wathcing Pascal and Hopkins boring us to death. Butes moment of truth will come when he finally faces another top fighter. When will that be? when he finally decides to stop fighting C level competition. It isnt like Butes a young guy, hes wasting his prime in worthless fights.

So lets blame Bute for not wanting to move up in weight? Ok "Elite Poster".

Can't put all the blame on Bute for the Pascal fight not happening. Interbox and GYM wouldn't make the deal; it's kind of beyond Bute's direct control.

Yeah I don't think its fair to ask Bute to move out of the weight class hes most comfortable in. If he doesn't want to move up then he shouldn't have to imo.
