Have not played.
What's the problem with it.
I have been disappointed with both UFC games so if this is worse "control wise" i want nothing to do with it. I don't think i have the right cords to download the game to see for myself.

I like the MMA demo better then both complete UFC games already based off of the control mechanics, moar fun gameplay. I dig the more fluid fast pace to, that's gaming. UFC is always stiff, no frills. This plays more real. But this will probably end up sucking like those did. It's really not different enough to be all that fun. MMA doesn't translate into a very fun video game when the game trys to be as complex and dynamic as the sport.

I don't know if you can judge the game as a whole at all through a demo. The online play and career mode they have been hyping seem to be a lot different and kewler than UFC.
UFC's career mode is too lame and i'm a big career mode player.
I HATE HATE HATE how UFC uses their career mode to try to make a point. "THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT IN THE UFC HUH? THIS IS WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A FIGHTER...HARD WORK...CONSTANT HOURS IN TRAINING..EVERY MUSCLE MUST BE TIGHT IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE A FUCKIN FIGHTER"
Everybody, including coach potatoes and PC nerds know it's not as easy as maxing yourself out to be a pro MMA fighter. However, by installing the real life fact that nobody cares about into a video game...you are making it boring as fuck and not fun. Which UFC's career mode is. I don't want to spend most of my time sparring and doing camps when it does not give me enough points to make a significant dent in my ratings. I don't want to be told to retire when i finally get my fighter near the same ratings level as Houston Alexander. I dont want to have to defend my title to the same 3 fighters for the next 20 fights until im too old to fight at the listed age of 24 years old.
In my opinion, it turns people off the UFC games once they have gone through all the exhibition fights they wanted to do and limits it to only worth playing with two players.
1. You should have the option to max out your fighter and rip through the ranks. The thought that goes through peoples heads when they read the roster is "my created player is gonna beat all their asses" but off the bat you can't create somebody good enough to do that and the game makes it so you are pretty much done with the game by the time your created player is good enough skill wise.
2. The game should have ample created players within the game that too go up the ranks instead of having the same old fighters never age. Like in the NBA, NFL, MLB games, in dynasty mode every season has a draft and new top players arise and players age. Is it that hard to put that in a career mode for MMA?

The demo is fun. Switch the controls to "classic" and the controls flow a lot like undisputed with some small changes. I think it's good.

For those complaining about the control set up go to options and change it.
