Right now, Showtime has the names at 168 and even 175 w/Hopkins-Pascal set to air on SHO PPV, w/Pavlik staying at 160, HBO has NOTHING to offer

Stieglitz seems content to stay in Germany, Jean Paul Mendy still hasn't woke up from July 31st, Librado Andrade can make money in Canada. I really can't see anyone out there willing to take this risk other than Bika.

Maybe, but I wouldn't like to see him take the risk after those two concussions in a row. Green might not be talented but he does posses heavy hands.

To be fair Green was never out of the tournament, they're was only a brief discussion about dropping him and going straight to the semi finals.

@danrafaelespn To clarify from today's chat: I have confirmed with Showtime that Allan Green's opponent will enter with zero points, not Kessler's 2 pts.

According to sources involved in the tournament, when Kessler dropped out, Showtime had hoped to eliminate Group Stage 3 and move directly to the semifinals by dumping Green from the field. After weeks of talks, and with contractual obligations, the plan was scrapped. The contracts the promoters signed called for three rounds before the semifinals -- and the money that went with each, so eliminating one of the stages would have been daunting.

So Green remains in the field, although his opponent and the date of his fight are undetermined.

"I don't have an opponent yet but obviously Allan has remained in camp and is ready to fight," Lou DiBella, Green's promoter, told ESPN.com. "We have to find a suitable opponent."

There is a chance that Green's bout will be added to Showtime's Nov. 6 card in Las Vegas. Right now, that telecast features only one bout, featherweight titlist Juan Manuel Lopez defending against Rafael Marquez.

Fighters in the field are awarded three points for a knockout win, two points for a win and one point for a draw. Ward has already sewn up a semifinal berth, but the remaining three are open, although Green and his opponent, both of whom have zero points, need a knockout win and help.

Ward, 2-0 in the tournament, leads the field with four points. Abraham is 1-1 in the tournament but has three points because of a knockout win. Froch and Dirrell are each 1-1 with two points apiece.
