Vick is the Eagles new starting QB

Of course this had to happen he's been playing like he did back in the day. Either he will end up getting a nice new contract from the Eagles or get a new deal with a new team that doesn't have to worry about the public the way philly did. Or I guess the Eagles could stamp the franchise tag on him. What do you guys think?

All this does is give Kolb more time to get ready until Vick gets injured.

I hope Vick stays health. As long as he is and playing this way the Eagles are gonna be hard to beat.

Vick either learns to stay in the pocket or he doesn't finish the season. My guess? Kolb is the QB come November.

Season is young, but he has played well enough to earn a chance to keep playing.

He more than earned a shot, whats the worse that could happen? ride it out until he starts loosing then put in Kolb and get him ready for next year

How sold can they really be on the guy? They trade McNabb away but then yank the kids starting job after 2 games. How much confidence can they have in the kid? Just like Brady Quinn if you aren't sold on what you got it is better to cut your losses and try again in the draft.

I'm not sure why they'd want to move Kolb short of money. But damn, you give the guy a contract, he get's hurt, another guy steps up and plays well, and now you're looking to trade your "future"? If they move him and Vick gets hurt, the coach gets fired day after season ends!

I'm not familiar with the ownership in Philly, but maybe they're pushing for Vick?
