Best Pancrase Fights

I understand Im virtually the only guy here who watched Pancrase especially live, so here are some of the best Pancrase fights off the top of my head.

Ken Shamrock vs Matt Hume - great transitions, they trade head kicks, Hume with a nasty Slam, Ken gets a RNC, Arm bar, and tehn the sickest slam ever (fireman) WATCH even a non Ken homer can see this was an awesome fight.



Bas Rutten vs Frank Shamrock -, these 2 fought 3 times, this is the one that was the true classic. One of the best and most entertaining fights ive ever witnessed. I love it Bas scores a Knockdown, Frank gets up and says Fuck this were going out of the ring 2:30 second area, 5 minute mark is classic. 6:55 mark is even more classic and is a sig on this site.



Ken Shamrock vs Bas Rutten 2 - a month before Ken would fight Royce, the 2 best fighters in Pancrase face off in a classical rematch.



Bas Rutten vs Maurice Smith - Rutten vs another legend, shows why Smith was loved cause of his heart and why Rutten was recognized as one of the best.



Vitali Klitschko vs Ryushi Yanagasiwa - more K-1 style but under Pancrase banner, an all kick boxing show



Minori Suzuki vs Guy Mezger - Suzuki beat Ken, Guy was the pupil, heres a lesson in how not to pull guard. Impressive Mezger performance

and how could i forget

Ken Shamrock vs masakatsu Funaki - basically the man that created Pancrase and taught Ken everything he knew about shootfighting fight each other in the first round of the King of Pancrase Tournament.
