| Does this guy have a legitimate chance? Or are they just throwing Gabe a can? | |

| He's a good big wrestler. His only loss is too wiuff who's a big salty wrestler himself. That was a decision loss but he had already went 2 full rounds earlier in the day. So Honestly it's hard to take a lot from that loss. Considering he trains with Brock I wouldn't be shocked if he won. I'd say its 65-35 in favor of Gonzo but tuchscherer definitely has a shot. | |

| Tuscherer may be the best HW no one's heard of. To say he's a good wreslter is understating his ability. He's a huge guy at barely over 6' and needing to cut to get to 265, he has heavy hands and very good conditioning for a guy his size. His holes are his submission game and ability to finish guys standing (He's never finished anyone of note), but he does have wins over Krzysztof and Oleinik. He's basically a poor man's Lesnar that could be a top-20 guy if he could sharpen his stand up... He could upset Gabriel with a shot like Shane did, but I think Gabriel will be better prepared this fight. | |

| I didn't realize he tried out for TUF and they gave him a contract instead. http://mmamania.com/2009/08/26/ufc-quick-quote-chris-tuchscherer-not-tuf-or-too-tough-enough-for-spike-tv/“I thought I was going to get on the show — I tried out, everything was looking good, I got a second interview — then I got home and I got a call saying I wasn’t going to make the show. Later on that week, I got an e-mail from Joe Silva with a contract offer, so it worked out for the best. But I honestly couldn’t tell you why it went down like that. I was never told, like, ‘your record is this good, so we just want you to have a contract.’ I think I would have done very well. I would have seen myself as one of the guys to make it to the finals.” | |
