Thing that pisses me off about Gore is that he eitheir rushes for 150-200 yards on 15 carries, usually on the strengh of a 3-4 huge runs or he runs for a useless 30-40 yards on 25 carries. Seems like there is no consistancy in between. For me, it's been love him one week and hate him the next for about three years now.

I don't know how valuble he is fantasy wise but real life wise the past few years the offense has gone how Gore goes...thats why the Niners have been great one week and crap the next for the past 3 seasons because they are only as consistant as Gore...who is inconsistant and not to mention injury prone.

I have not considered him somebody the offense is built around since about 2007 but the Niners have not had the offensive line...and judging by today still don't have the offensive line to make it Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree's offense because Alex Smith is simply no good when 3 fat asses are already chasing him out of bounds as soon as the ball is snapped.

O-line can definetly be credited for a lot of Gore's problems as well but sometimes Gore's struggles to get more than a yard past the line of scrimmage is headache inducing.
