In 1997 i was a huge WWF fan and Shamrock and Savern happened to both be in the company so i wanted to see them in a real fight.

It didnt make me a fan. I did not become an MMA fan until around 2001-2002 and it was PrideFC that got me into MMA.

all i remembered was Jeremy Horn vs FRANK Shamrock. Then I got a UFC game in like 2003 with a bunch of Pride and UFC legends, and played the shit out of it, then I got into Pride in 2005.

dont remember which ufc but ken was the main event and he was on top of the guy the whole time. i started watching it because i was a huge wwf fan and i wanted to see ken fight.

I started watching MMA when UFC came out on VHS. That will let ya know.

lol i remember you were saying you were a pride hater at first.

In 1998 a mate of mine said to me there is this new fighting discipline that you have to check out. It's where Ken Shamrock became big. So I went to the video store and hired UFC 1-6 and watched them all in a few days.

Looks like I am the newest fan on this board. The first event that I remember was Franklin vs Ken Shamrock.

damn pretty obvious no one can deny the amount of fans Ken Shamrock brought to the sport

so much so that Wolf confused his brother Frank for being Ken unless that was a posting error

Haha, I'm really new to the sport. UFC 83 was my first event I watched. Of course, since, I've watched every UFC, WEC, and Pride event. Plus I have a few IFL DVDs. I had a lot of catching up to do, haha.

As bad as it sounds, the first season of TUF was when I started watching.
