| Warren is tough to knockout. I wonder if Soto didn't hurt his hand hitting his head so hard and decided to wait and let Warren come to him? Also, Soto knew he couldn't chase too much after Warren because that would make the takedown easier. | |

| Big knee.
If Warren beats Omigawa in a couple weeks. What a 3 month stretch.

| Warren is a great fighter but he is very very beatable. I'll be pulling for Michihiro. I think it's safe to say Warren doesn't have the unblockable takedowns we thought he might have. | |

| Everybody is beatable and Joe Warren can still take down anybody. He just does not commit to takedowns unless they are set up, atleast since the competition got stiffer with Pitbull and Soto and thats a good thing but it's also a bad thing when his striking and defense is so bad.
Joe Warren is the Chael Sonnen of FW. Only a lot greener of course but once he's sands down the rugged edges he'll be dominating a lot of guys. He's already beating some really good guys like Kid, Soto, Pitbull, George K and Beebe as a rookie when he's noticeably green. I'm impressed despite the fact there have been a couple rounds in Bellator where he's just looked really bad.

| I've seen in two straight fights his takedown game shutdown and Warren battered on the feet. Miracle come backs each time. I'm going to downgrade both him and Mo's wrestling until further notice. | |

| What's wrong with Mo's wrestling? His takedown game was not shut down it's just another high level grappler was able to get back to his feet and knock him out.
Just because these guys don't land a perfect clip or in Mo's case overconfident with standup does not mean that their wrestling is overrated or whatever....some guys have strong balance or are just flat out bigger and stronger..like Feijao against Mo.
That's a very sherdogian reaction to one fight with Mo. Very un-wolf.
As for Warren..if his takedown game was shutdown against Pitbull he would have been finished or lost a UD...it was not shut down. Pitbull stuffed a couple takedowns but by defending them blew himself out for the rest of the fight.

| What is sherdoggian to downgrade one from 'unblockable' to 'actually blockable' when it turns out they're actually blockable? I'm not saying they don't have top flight wrestling. I'm saying I'm knocking them out of the GSP, Chael Sonnen class. Find me a wrestler in either division that has had success stopping takedowns from these two fighters in the last three years.
I should further clarify; Mo and Warren didn't set up the takedowns with strikes very effectively in their last outings. This is the specific reason they're being downgraded in MMA wrestling. GSP and Chael do that brilliantly and are able to do that on every opponent. Warren and Mo were unable to do that effectively in their last fights. Rashad Evans is another fighter who has upgraded his takedown(not top control) aspect of his game possibly to that level by fine tuning the art of setting up the takedown.
BJ Penn's last fight has his wrestling defense status at LW taking a massive hit as well.

| I think Jon Jones is in this category. Brandon Vera is a tough guy to take down and he made it looks easy. | |

I never considered them unblockable but don't forget that those guys are both have less than 2 years and 10 fights of MMA experience, intangibles that more experienced MMA wrestlers like Sonnen don't come to these guys right away because a lot of wrestlers in MMA come in thinking they just need to put their heads down and shoot and thats that. Brock Lesnar is actually pretty guilty of this as well, i don't think he sets up his takedowns well that is why they get stopped at a pretty high rate for an NCAA champion the size of a house. ...both(Mo and Warren) are probably a little too arrogant about their wrestling that they feel they can just shoot. I would actually class Mo and Shad the same right now with how they look. Remember last year Shad didnt look like much a wrestler at all against Machida, he never even came close to getting a grip on him. Mo could get anybody down but i've been more concerned with his top control, much like Evans. It was lacking against Mousasi and negated his takedowns against Feijao.
