pathetic..pascal made a mistake in more ways then one by agreeing to this fight..i have no interest in watching this fight at all even if it was on espn..

I got Hopkins taking this one. Not a good style match-up for Pascal in my opinion.

But maybe he will prove me wrong.

Hopkins is a joke, straight up ducked Dawson and now Dawson has lost, Hopkins jumps at the chance to face the lineal champion with less skill. Typical Hopkins move. I'm surprised he wasn't waiting for the Manny-Margarito winner so he could make them move up to LHW to fight him. Pascal is a fool for agreeing to this, HBO aren't interested and Hopkins is going to hold and spoil his way to victory, Pascal has done all the hard work to get the title and now Hopkins is just going to jump at the chance after being inactive and choosing only to fight guys not ranked at the top of the division. People like Bernard Hopkins and Golden Boy Promotion's outfit are what is killing boxing

BHOP knows how to nullify an opponent's strengths.
He and Brother Nazeem will sit down and watch alot of tape of Pascal. Expect BHOP to step in and smother Pascal's offensive bursts.

then the remainder of the fight you'll see BHOP using the now infamous BHOP offensive tactic of throwing the quick straight right hand while diving in with the head.

and you know that he does this!!! step in quick with his head closely following his right hand and then hold on the referee's blind side and hit with the free hand. throw a punch and smother his opponent before he can throw. going to be a typical Bernard Hopkins exhibition of how to win a fight by using illegal tactics

Nothing. Lesnar Couture should have been your go-to argument. Or Sylvia-Couture. Doesn't hold as much water now with all the guys already in the UFC and outside of it, up and coming, in the division though. But 12 months ago you could have called game set match.


Still Hopkins shouldn't be challenging for titles in this class at his age. What a joke.

WTF are you talking about? Couture like Hopkins is old but still competing at the highest level

Wolfy give it a rest, Pascal wants to face Hopkins for a payday and frankly he's earned it.

Hopkins isn't exactly a pushover even at 85 years old.

Until some of these young bucks knock these geezers into a retirement home,they will continue to stick around.

Two years ago Hopkins was the Light Heavyweight champion and then went on to school the current Middleweight champion. He's declined since then but is still an extremely difficult challenge for anybody out there.

True but Pascal is flawed enough to make it competitive, why do you think Hopkins has made the fight happen so fast ? Bernard has a keen eye at looking for ways to exploit opponents.
