| Mousasi in the top ten?
p4p top 20.
1a. Anderson. - Been a top fighter at WW, MW and LHW. First fighter in history to record top five victories in three weight classes. The best striker MMA has ever known.
1b. Fedor. - Reigned over the sport for many years. Has beaten the best in the world and fought many fighters weighing significantly more than he does. The best fighter MMA has ever known.
1c. Machida. - Never lost even a round in the UFC. He is a ghost and cannot be cleanly struck. The least struck fighter in MMA history.
1d. GSP. - Absolutely mauled P4P'r BJ Penn, and has defeated larger and equally athletic fighters. Possibly the best wrestler MMA has ever known.
5. BJ Penn. - At LW he is unstoppable, and at WW he could still beat nearly anyone there. The best LW fighter in history.
6. Mousasi. - dominated the field of middleweights outside the UFC like Anderson has inside, he has also dominated top competition in K1, LHW and HW.
7. Dan Henderson. - been competitive for years and years in multiple weight classes and fought at an extremely high level in the two unification losses before reeling off three straight wins against good competition. All time top five p4p.
8. Brian Bowles. - Not only did he flatten Torres but he has also accumulated a stellar resume of other quality wins including three maybe four other top ten wins at his weight class. In truth he has as many real wins as Torres does.
9. MTB. - Brown has proven himself with the two wins over Faber and a blowout of Garcia, but if anything his second win over Faber, a unanimos decision no less, leaves some doubt to who really is the best in the division.
10. Diego Sanchez. - Winning TUF at middleweight, having success at WW, now front in line at LW, Diego Sanchez has been successful in many weight classes and always improves.
11. Urijah Faber - Still has the tools to reclaim the title in the division, even with Aldo and Fabiano circling the waters. Will be favored to defeat Brown in a rematch.
12. Miguel Angel Torres - Has as many notable wins in the WEC as Bowles does, and literally a thousand wins over almost entirely cans most of whom are below .500, or have only the single loss to Torres to their credit. Inflated a record in MMA as you'll ever find ever.
13. Quinton Jackson - Outside of Machida, his record in the weight class is superior to anyone elses since 2006. Competitive in every fight he's been in for many years.
14. Thiago Alves - Still the most feared guy in the division. GSP's unbeatableness aside, I'd still rather fight him than Alves. Less likely to require facial reconstruction.
15. Jake Shields - Striking questions continue to dog this fighter, but he has been able to defeat many top names at WW and MW over the years including Yushin Okami, Carlos Condit, and Robbie Lawler.
16. Jon Fitch - Workman like describes this fighter in nearly every way.
17. Rashad Evans - His fight with Quinton Jackson will tell us a lot.
18. Frankie Edgar - Small for the division yet constantly in the title discussion.
19. Jose Aldo - As dominant and fightening a striker as any fighter in WEC history.
20. Nick Diaz - Able to take names and kick ass in multiple divisions. Jay Hieron looms. He needs to pass that test before he can be taken more seriously as a p4p entrant.
Just beyond the top twenty - Kenny Florian, Josh Barnett, Gray Maynard, Wagnney Fabiano, Nate Marquart, Shogun Rua, Shinya Aoki.

| Pretty solid. I'd put Fitch over Alvez though and take Diaz off the list and insert Franklin, Shogun, Aoki, or Maynard | |

| Ya, maybe with Diaz. Joe Rogan has him in his top ten though, which influences me. | |

| Alves has been more impressive against guys at least as good if not better than Fitch has recently beat and took somewhat less damage against GSP.
I don't think Fitch would beat Alves now.

| Sanchez seems a little high, i dont really consider him top p4p, most sites dont even have him in the top 10 lw's but most of the members here have him the number 2 or number 3 lw. I agree he is top 20 for sure, dont know about top 10.
And leave Diaz, stoner or not he is a skilled fighter. Hopefully he just gets his shit together and kills Hieron.
