So many inflated egos, when there are only two TRUE stars...

Boxing is killing itself. You have a ton of talented guys out there, talented, but they haven't really accomplished jack shiit, and they are demanding ridiculous money. Will the sport ever recover from this?

There are only two real stars(one fights and one doesn't) who can make outrageous demands on money. Floyd and Manny. The rest of these guys are just chasing dreams trying to be like these two, and not fighting their way up the ranks to try to get there. "Floyd made 20 million, so should I"... SHUT UP and fight you're Andre Berto. "Manny made 20 million, so should I"... SHUT UP you're Devon Alexander.

I'm just getting sick of it. Like I've said before, these networks need to just make a stand on these guys. If they want outrageous money, get it from somewhere else...

i agree i agree i agree..these fighters on there worth must be in lsd..boxing is being destroyed by punk half seasoned talent that 50 years ago would of had there ass handed to them in the ring..and by real fighters..sorry for the true buta broken record..i wish i was 21 again id put them all threw a wall..thats a fact..there killing our sport.it belongs to us..the lifelong or new dedicated fans who love this sport..

Showtime isnt having these problems

Dawson, Bradley, Alexander all fought on SHO and took on serious challenges before HBO busted out the checkbook for crappy fights

there is more than 2 true stars. There are plenty of guys who are huge stars in Europe. We don't need to belittle them because they aren't huge stars here.

Let's be real here Marble there is only one reason Adamek is at Heavyweight, to secure a Klitschko payday.

The word true means transcending. Not just being stars in their home country, or region of their country, worldwide.

Manny and Floyd could fight each other, or some other opponent ANYWHERE, and it would be huge. This is what I mean. These are the ONLY two guys currently in the sport that can demand large amounts of money, because they generate large amounts of money. Who else can do this?

All of the guys you mentioned are warriors but they ain't exactly perfect. Montiel turned down the bantamweight tournament, Cotto just turned down a Berto fight.

ali yes adameeks looking for a big payday against a k brother but he will fight.his promoter duva wants him active hbo or showtime WITH or without them..there where the credit should be given..he will take a resonable risk without big tv money..

..ill agree..and the k brothers draw 60 000 without hbo..fighters fight..they do it oftem not 1 or 2 times in a year year and a half or so.
