Spencer Fisher arrested in IOWA!!!

UFC lightweight Spencer Fisher was arrested in Bettendorf, Iowa on Tuesday for "interfering with an official act," which could mean anything from tearing up a parking ticket a meter maid was writing him to refusing to allow animal control to take his dog that had gotten loose from his yard.

He was released on $300 bond on his own recognizance.

Looks like it's nothing major, just found it cool that he was arrested in Iowa out of all places!

"Spencer went to pick up his daughters from school, and he doubled parked because there were no other parking spaces available," Dubberly stated in an email to MMAjunkie.com. "The police asked Spencer to move his car, and Spencer stated he would only be a second. The police asked him again to move his car, and Spencer kept proceeding to pick up his daughters from school."

That's when Fisher was arrested. He posted the $300 bail soon after.

Dubberly doesn't expect any additional problems due to the incident.

"We feel these charges will be dropped," he said.

Rampage killed an unborn fetus and the latter half of the 2009 PPV revenue stream for the UFC, but never the less I'd like to see Spencer cut from the UFC.

I agree, double parking should be punishable by death. I need to change my answer in the "change the world" thread to no double parking.

Double parking is a real big offence here in Iowa!

Well in fairness the years of fighting makes Spenc's face look like the face of a meth freak. Something that is rampant in Iowa.

OH yeah well last I checked Oklahoma was still the meth capital of the US! So face!

Just barely! I think we were leading it up until a couple of years ago, they started busting meth labs like crazy.
