| in regards to the rules back then. if a fighters gloves hit the canvas was it a knockdown or not? in watching this bout in roun d 15 ambers gets hit and basically places both hands on the canvas yet the ref doesnt count. can anybody explain to me if this was just imcompetent refereeing. | |

| Back then in title fights there wasn't always a mandatory count. When you got up the action began again. So if a guy got right up from a knockdown back to work they went. | |

cool thanks marb because the announcer did say it was a knockdown but ambers got right back up after being chin checked and just kept going. i was like WTF? | |
