First up Despaigne vs Paines

Paines at a significant size disadvantage

Man oh man is that Cuban BIG for a 175.

I'm more or less watching. There's an MMA card that's been pretty awesome so far, so I may flip back depending on how these fights look. These two look like they're different weight classes.

Paines, 11 opponents and 9 had zero wins. Wow, that is pretty sick.

Round to Despaigne. No idea how Paines is gonna get close to him.

Paines got crushed there. Way too small.

That was a VERY nice pivot and hook by the Cuban.

We've established Despaigne is NOT a big puncher. he's landed some HUGE hooks.

The Cubans are ready for real fights. Somebody make it happen. This is going to go 10 I think. I think I remember Despaigne and he's not a finisher.

How about putting Despaigne in with someone close to the same size!!! Fights like this don't do alot for a guy's career.

Despaigne is really well taught. But he's not very explosive. I think part of that is him still punching like he's an amateur.

ESPN has shown many fights in the past couple years of Cuban prospects with extensive amateur backgrounds. Only problem is these guys are always in soft.
