| Along with McCory, the UFC has released Thales Leites. The UFC will probably invite either fighter back within a year should they do well outside the promotion. Leites could be a good pick up for Strikeforce & Dream, which have a combined MW division that is pretty damn good, or perhaps Sengoku, who is desparate to find fights for Santiago. | |

| I rather have Barncat back then Leites. If you lose to Sakara you deserve to be dropped anyway. | |

| Leites would be a huge pick up for Strikeforce. Shields vs. Leites would be interesting. | |

| If losing to Sakara is so bad that Thales loses his job. Why in the world is Sakara employed in UFC?
Leites is still better than most of their middleweights.

| Didn't someone ask Dana in that postfight press conference if they would release Leites and he acted like there was no way that would happen? | |

Sure, but we all know what Dana say and what Dana do are two different things. I remember he wanted Strikeforce to get 20 million viewers. I remember Tito Ortiz is not a fighter anymore and is not UFC caliber. I remember Fedor is a farce, but soon to be instant title shot, highest paid fighter in UFC, then back to a farce. Dana White is full of shit.

Could not disagree more. The BJJ of both of them make it a very interesting match.

So do people care about Leites now? No one gave a shit about him a few days ago when he was fighting.

| Ok, this is just bullshit. That loss on Saturday was literally the worst decision I've ever seen. I'm not even exaggerating, it really was the worst decision I've ever seen. I had Leites winning all three rounds. Legionarious just ran away the entire fight. He was almost as bad as Thales was against Anderson. It's unfortunate that the UFC is getting rid of all of its great young talent to bring in crappy old fighters, who frankly would lose to the guys they're filling the spots of. | |
