Last season he played 30 games and scored only 5 goals. He's 33 now and not getting better.

I just thought they'd show some loyalty towards him, he's got 228 league goals for them!

but i guess business is business!

He wanted to leave because he knew he wouldn't be starting and Jose wouldn't take crap from him in the dressing room.

As for older players and the lack of "loyalty" from their clubs: there is no "loyalty" in sports. Athletes don't age like fine wine.

Back this weekend. Liverpool with a tough away game against Birmingham. Last year had a 1-1 draw there.

I prefer Celtic. Mark Viduka and Henrik Larrson together is what got me into them.

Mark Viduka boy that brings back memories of Leeds before they went bankrupt. Hhat happened to him ? last I remember was Mark was at Newcastle.

He's retired. He commentates in the A-League from time to time.
