Barca was the better team today, and in reality the better team in general. They dominated the midfield and their possession made Man U look bad a lot of the time. Just Brilliant passing, quick and crafty, haven't seen anyone cut up Man U's D like that.

Man U:

Good to see Rooney play pretty strong on a big stage, he's been eh in games like this, but only so much you can do.

Van der Sar played as well as you can givin up 3, really he had little chance on any of them, but maybe Messi's but he was screened by Vidic I think. Pedro had an easy pass in and Villa's goal was brilliance. Great career, fantasic keeper.

Chichirito was invisible much of game, he's young and Barca focused on him, but this is where I think Sir Alex made a mistake. I don't know what is going on in house and if Berba has been a distraction, but he shouldn't have been left off the squad entirely. A player that could hold the ball up like him could have been useful and a much better potential sub then Owen.

Park played well I thought, just a solid workhourse player, but not a game changer, best in the mid today for Man U.

Giggs showed his age a bit IMO.

Carrick was ovrwhelmed by Barca again, still a great player, tough matchup for him.

Barca:

Messi played strong, best game on english soil he's had. Penetrated the D and he lead to Villa having the room for his great goal. Thought his goal was a bit lucky, but can't get lucky if you don't shoot. Still the best player in the World.

Villa with that briliant goal, played well all game. Him and Messi compliment eachother so well.

Pedro had an easy opportunity with a great through ball from Xavi, clinical finish, basically passed it in. Still I like how he seprated to create the room for the ball.

Xavi and Iniesta, best midfield duo in the World IMO, not much else to say.

LA, I agree about Giggs, he looked old tonight.

It could be the whole Imogen scandal effected him but Giggs was slow and sloppy tonight.
