Considering the hand speed of Cain, bringing Barry in is smart. But Lesnar isn't as stupid as some members of this board might like to claim he is.

This move though actually is late. As horrible a striker as Lesnar is you'd think they would have brought in someone besides blonde Minnasota whiteboys a while ago.

Deathclutch is one of the worst striking camps in MMA. Like a modern day Hammerhouse. Horrible hands from all their members. Jon Madsen, Chris Touscherer, Brock Lesnar and Cole Konrad. None of them even have mediocre boxing skills.

How does this benefit Lesnar ??

Bringing in Peter Welch was a step in the right direction. It helps having decent sparring partners to strike with though

It helps Brock although I dont think his striking will win him a fight against Cain.

If Lesnar wants to win he better do it in the standup. His reach is the key to winning a fight against Cain. If he thinks drilling takedowns against fat clowns like Conrad is a good way to prepare for Cain he's seriously mistaken.

If anything Wolf I hope he jabs to set up takedowns.
