Spider talks about, Penn hints at it. Both guys are at the TOP of their games right now. Boxers always talk about it, go into it, and then come out of it. Randy did the same. So should we kind of look past the retirement talk of the current greats and expect them to be here long into the future?

Man that would be heart breaking, the guy is coming off maybe his most impressive performance, he never takes any damage, I'd hate to see him walk away while still at the very top of his game.

He has always said he will retire when he is 35, IMO Anderson has other things outside of the UFC he wishes to pursue. Just like the RJJ boxing match. I think there are other things he probably wants to try as well. Plus no one wants to go out with a loss.

yeah your right I wouldnt worry about it but I think anderson may walk away he seems to be done with it. I think he needs a real challenge to get his spark back but the question is can we find one.

Anderson will definitely retire when his contract is up.

Penn will retire when he gets bored again.
