| it really makes me think that Khan's loss to him is large blemish on his record.
Prescott looks horrible to me. He hasn't improved at all. His body punching is awful. It looks like every punch is wide and with an open hand. If he didn't have his size he wouldn't have anything at all.

| I'd agree if Prescott had dominated Khan over a large period of a bout, but he simply sparked Khan outta there in a blink. Just one of those lightning in a bottle things. Speaks more to issues of Khan's chin than skill level. | |

I tend to think this is closer to the truth. I also don't think any single loss, by itself, is that big a blemish.

| Khan was very inexperienced when he met Prescott. During that time Warren was feeding him the customary obscure opponent to pad his record, and Khan had also just hired a new trainer (Rubio). It was Rubio who suggested Prescott as the opponent, Warren and Khan's team didn't even bother to scout Prescott.
He got caught cold in the first round, these happen regularly in boxing and other combat sports.
Honestly it was a huge blessing in disguise, the shocking loss made Khan realize he needed to hire a top class trainer and get away from England for training camps. |

| Yup, Roach has taught Khan how to protect his vulnerable chin and utilize his jab, Ariza has strengthened him with a proper diet and the right training methods.
The Prescott loss is probably the best thing that's happened to Khan. |

| All right. You guys have kind of convinced me.
But if he gets starched by someone like say, Katsidis moving up, I'll hold it against him like Lewis against McCall and Rahman.
