Cory Spinks vs Alfredo Angulo could be added to the Jan 29th undercard

BoxingScene.com has been advised by promoter Gary Shaw, that if IBF junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks successfully defends his title against Cornelius Bundrage on the Devon Alexander-Andriy Kotelnik undercard on Saturday night, there is a good chance that he will face Alfredo "Perro" Angulo on January 29 as the HBO televised co-feature to the junior welterweight unification between Devon Alexander and Tim Bradley.

BoxingScene's Lem Satterfield previously reported that the Alexander-Bradley fight was close to being finalized. Alexander and Spinks are both promoted by Don King and Gary Shaw promotes Tim Bradley and Alfredo Angulo so the pairing is logical. If this double header comes to fruition it will be quite a way for HBO to start off 2011.

Spinks doesn't have the legs he once had. Angulo will take him out eventually.

Spinks has/had the talent to box Angulo's dog collar off. We gotta see what happens tomorrow.I'm pretty sure HBO will show highlights.

It's ashame because back in Spinks heyday he would have won a decision over Angulo with relative ease, father time catches up to us all.

There is a big difference between Zab and Angulo's speed, and he was a vastly superior boxer.

Just look at how Spinks was able to handle Mayorga.

Meaning if a mamaluke like Zab can beat you, while you're in your prime, than Angulo can find a way to beat you too.
