| Pellulo and Arum are discussing it and pitching it to HBO
HBO doesnt have anything on their fall schedule, would be a great match up
I'd take Pirog over Pavlik

| I'm not sure based upon watching one fight how good The Pirogi Man really is.
Of course I'm pretty sure Kelly hasn't improved so...........

| He did but I guess now he'll have a nutritionist during camp telling him not to drink a 12 pak of PBR after his workout
Im sure they figured MW was his best shot to stay relevant, probably in over his head at 168

| He turns down a shot at the middleweight champ in favour of a worthless trinket... | |

I think at the time Kelly was figuring out his future options. He wasn't sure if he could still make 160lb when he had the rematch option available, obviously Kelly and his team are convinced with the proper help he can still make 160lb. At this stage Kelly needs a huge confidence boost rather than another tough fight with an elite Middleweight. |

| By the sounds of some of you guys you would think Pirog is Marvin Hagler.
He beat an unproven prospect. Relax.

He beat an unproven prospect. Relax. You're right people are getting way too carried away with Pirog, he only beat Danny Jacobs. |

| People are getting a little carried away with Pirog. Beating Jacobs doesn't mean that much to me. We will find out how good he is in his next few fights.
People are getting a little down on Pavlik. It will be just like the Martinez fight. Martinez has some amazing feet and his handspeed is pretty darn good. Martinez struggled with Pavlik for about 8 rounds. Fight was even when the cut occurred. If Pavlik had a legit cutman who could have done something to stop it, then maybe the last 4 rounds wouldn't have been him in survival mode.
Pirog seemed to move pretty well, his handspeed seemed decent, he is awkward, but I don't see a parallel between his fighting style and the ultra fast feet and fast hands of martinez.
