| Couple of shows I wanna check out. Stan Lee's Superhumans - History http://www.history.com/shows/stan-lees-superhumansThroughout history, the forces of evolution and genetic mutation have endowed humans with astonishing new abilities and features. It's a process that continues to this day, and nowhere is it more evident than in the fascinating world of Stan Lee's "Superhumans."
Co-hosted by Stan Lee, the legendary creator of the X-Men, the series scours the globe for the real-life counterparts of Lee's characters–people with unique genetic traits that translate into remarkable powers. These include a man whose body is powerfully magnetic, another who can withstand deadly levels of cold and yet another whose brain performs complex calculations at staggering speeds.
In each episode, these "superhumans" undergo tests that may help explain their amazing gifts, while viewers discover the long history of people with extraordinary powers. Daniel Browning Smith, who's been dubbed the most flexible man in the world, hosts this thrilling journey into the farthest reaches of humankind.Wonders of the Solar System - Discovery http://science.discovery.com/tv/wonders-of-the-solar-system/episodes/Episodes Empire of the Sun Airs: Wednesday, August 4 at 9PM e/p The Sun rules over a vast empire of worlds. For five billion years, our Solar System's vibrant, beating heart has fused hydrogen into helium, powering our planet's complex systems. Without its abundant energy, life as we know it would not exist. When it dies, it will truly be the end of us all.
Order Out of Chaos Airs: Wednesday, August 11 at 9PM e/p Saturn's iconic rings are one of the most recognizable features of our Solar System. Scientists now believe the delicate bands of ice may also hold the key to understanding our own humble origins. Could our celestial neighbors have really emerged from a collapsing cloud of swirling dust?
The Thin Blue Line Airs: Wednesday, August 18 at 9PM e/p A thin blue line separates us from the harsh vacuum of space. Our planet's atmosphere provides the air that we breathe, the water that we drink and the landscape that surrounds us — but it's not unique. Well beyond the inner Solar System, we've discovered a frozen moon that looks a lot like home.
Dead or Alive Airs: Wednesday, August 25 at 9PM e/p The universal forces of nature that keep our planet alive also wreak devastation across the Solar System. They bridge the depths of space, transforming static worlds into palaces of everlasting youth and creating intense heat sources that power one of the most spectacular sights in the Solar System.
Aliens Airs: Wednesday, September 1 at 9PM e/p Are we alone in the universe? It's one of the greatest scientific questions we may one day be able to answer. We'll investigate by searching for life forms in some of our planet's most hostile environments and scouring the Solar System for worlds that harbor the necessary conditions to support life. | |

| History channel doesn't show history but it has some interesting shows. I like Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and I'm looking forward to Superhumans. The preview for it looked pretty beast. | |
