Ok I meant to have the poll if there is a debate. The poll would be to determine if he gets in after we did talk about it. |

| how about from john l sullivan on up..or lets say we disgus decades.and then after disgussion each decade gets fighters nominated for a vote..thoses that get the required 2thirds a a example make the list of immortals..untill we complete 10 or 11 dcades..some decades may have zero..or we can go in 20 year incriminents.1900-1920 1920 1940..if 50 are not reached then we can either revist a few fighters or so..just a idea | |

| The Ring Magazine did a top 80 from 1922-2002. Hewre's the top twenty of those
1.Sugar Ray Robinson 2.Henry Armstrong 3.Muhammad Ali 4.Joe Louis 5.Roberto Duran 6.Willie Pep 7.Harry Greb 8.Benny Leonard 9.Sugar Ray Leonard 10.Pernell Whitaker 11.Carlos Monzon 12.Rocky Marciano 13.Ezzard Charles 14.Archie Moore 15.Sandy Saddler 16.Jack Dempsey 17.Marvin Hagler 18.Julio Cesar Chavez 19.Eder Jofre 20.Alexis Arguello
The guys who appear on only one of those lists are Sweet Pea, Carlos Monzon, Rocky Marciano, Sandy Saddler, Marvin Hagler, Alexis Arguello.
Are they all "no-brainer" immortals? If they are that's 26 already. But are those guys all "no-brainer" immortals?

I say that 20 years would be easier. What if we reach 50 before we reach the 2000's? |

\ Either that or by division. As a starting point we say no more than what? Three per decade or three per division? Just to make us REALLY choose?

I need some oxygen...and a drink...and a copy of an olde Ring Magazine to get my bearings again
