Just for the record, I agree with all the arguments I've read on here against Glen Johnson being chosen for the HOF. Just a couple of points. There are a considerable number of fighters who don't belong in the Hall. Ken Norton for example. Also, regardless of all the sensible arguments against Gatti getting in the Hall, I can almost gurantee you he has a special spot reserved for him at this moment. No, he may not belong but he'll be there sooner than you think. I always thought that if fights were 15 rounds, Glen Johnson would've had a better career. Antonio Tarver and Chad Dawson always faded in the later rounds against him. I've never seen Johnson outclassed in any fight. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, a win over Tavoris Cloud can start a new career for Johnson. If he loses, I'd advise him to retire. If he wins, and is somehow able to defeat Dawson in 12 rounds, I think we're looking at a new reality for Johnson, especially if he can get a title belt and defend it at least five times. I realize I'm asking a lot from him, but I'm a big fan. We can get unrealistic at times. All I'm saying is, Johnson's famous saying, "I'm not the man. I'm just looking for the man" may inspire him to greater feats. Let's face it. He hasn't found the man yet.
