Sergiy Dzinziruk

Watched the replay of his fight last weekend and was just curious what some of you other boxing junkies thought of his performance and skills?

Certainly seems like a tough match-up for anybody at 154 given his boxing ability. That right jab of his was simply outstanding. Sergiy Dzinziruk has to be a converted right hander to southpaw, but does anybody know for sure? His left hand was nothing special, so I figured he had to be a convert with how dominant his right hand was. That right was ridiculous good... there is just noway he isn't converted. If he wasn't converted to southpaw, I'll eat my HBO Boxing hat, so please let me know if I am wrong on this.

Defense was a little leaky at times. Seemed like he was having trouble with those looping punches from time to time. I haven't seen enough of him to rate his chin either.

Miguel Cotto vs Sergiy Dzinziruk anybody?

No one wants to fight him. I was very, very impressed. The man is an excellent technician.

Typical boxing BS at present. None of the so called names want to take any risks. They just talk.

I think very highly of him. The search function on here works great. You can probably find what people thought about the Dawson fight that way. Not a fan of repeating myself and I had a clearer opinion then, than I do now.

I think he would soundly handle Cotto, but I'd love to see it.

Sergei is very high risk low reward at the moment, hopefully Gary Shaw gets him a payday next year.

Ali, I can't tell you how tired I am of hearing that line from promoters and fighters. It seems no fights are worthy of being made unless they feature PacBoy Or Flod.

I agree with you Canvas but unfortunately that's just the way it is at the moment.

He is a tough out for anyone because he is technically proficient. I like the jab as well. He will be able to outbox all but a few guys at 154.
