IBF bantamweight champion Yhonny Perez (20-0-1, 14 KOs) of Colombia and former world champion Joseph Agbeko (27-2, 20 KOs) will meet again Nov 6. The bout was scheduled to go to purse bid today but Perez’ promoter Gary Shaw and Agbeko’s promoter Don King informed the IBF today that they reached an agreement. The two met Halloween night 2009 where Perez upset the then defending world champion Agbeko by unanimous decision in a exciting bout. The bout will be televised on Showtime’s championship boxing. No venue has been set as of yet.
Great fight, the 1st one was a barn burner, non stop action
Gotta love Yhonny Perez, a true fighter!

looking forward to it, but would rather have Perez and mares rematch. that fight was debatable. Perez beat Agbeko clearly (not a lopsided fight but he clearly won).

I agree, this one is happening since Agbeko is Perez's IBF mandatory
Still a good fight and hopefully sets up the Mares rematch

What if Agbeko loses? Does Mares get Abgbeko then?

Idk, up to their promoters lol
If Agbeko losses, I think more likely to see the rematch between marez-perez

I meant to say if Perez loses. Sorry. If agbeko loses then he'll rematch that little crab Darchinyan.

I'm looking forward to this one. I think Agbeko takes it and we get a trilogy.
