Khan runs his mouth and then hides behind his promoter. He talks trash in the media about wanting Bradley next and then runs when it looks like it could happen.

Khan has magnificent skills, but he is suffering from a serious case of UK-itis, a serious condition that appears to be afflicting today's top British boxing stars. Symptoms include: verbal diarrhea, high estrogen levels, and testicular shrinkage.

Carl Froch seems to be immune to it though lol

Froch came down with it briefly, but thankfully seems to have gotten over it.

I don't know when the media tough guy routine became so standard in GB. I think it may have started in the early 90's when the Gallaghers were constantly having these media battles with Robbie Williams and Damon Albarn. They'd challenge each other to these public fights and swear they were going to bash one another, but nothing would ever come of it.

Khan needs to fight legit top 140 lb guys
Bradley has beat the best competition of anyone at 140
Maidana stepped aside
Khan loves to say he'd beat guys but he isn't running to face any of them
If Khan ends up facing a lightweight then people are going to start giving him hell for avoiding the top talent at 140

I think Khan has a ton of talent. He is still young, but it is getting to be time for him to face one of the other top guys at 140.

Overpriced himself-maybe Bradley does, but he is ranked #1 by Ring at 140 and has earned that spot.

Finally a good reason for social networking. This is actually great for the sport. Getting these or any guys to talk shit to one another makes fans like us more excited come fight time. This takes the juice away from the promoters and puts it in the hands of the competitors. What is Golden Boy or Arum or Universum or Saeurland going to say when 50,000 people on twitter say they want to see these guys fight? They'll have no choice but to make big fights. This is a great great thing.
