Well Carwin and Lesnar have never tested positive and I don't believe in suspicion so they are innocent until proven guilty. |

| It's possible. One punch finishes are the only mma talent he has any aptitude at it seems or he might of finished Brock. The fact they are on an all time top ten HW list though is disturbing. | |

| Brock is a 3x HW champ with impressive wins in his short career. I think he cracks the top ten of this young sport.
Disappointed that I'm not seeing Masakatsu Funaki on any of these lists. Has wins over Bas Rutten, Ken and Frank Shamrock, Vernon White, Yuki Kondo, Semmy Schilt, Minoru Suzuki, and Guy Mezger. If any of those guys are in the conversation, then so should Funaki.

| Drew Brees aint top ten yet for me but even still Brees has numbers way better than Carwin or Lesnar, fuck if these guys are top ten all time after a hand full of fights against Mir and Gonzaga, then in 8 months JDS and Cain might be top ten as well right? | |

| In all honesty, the sport is too young to have a hall of fame or a top 10 of all time in any weight class. Hell, we still have guys competing who were competing when the sport was all but 5 years old (mainstream wise). | |

| JDS will never be top 10 and Cain will lose to Brock, Carwin and Fedor. Maybe even Overeem also. |

18 years worth of fights is not long but enough for me to decide who I think has been the best when they fought.

| The smartest thing to come out of Toney's mouth was that its absurd that Couture is in the "hall of fame" yet still fighting. In no other sport can you be eligible for the hall of fame unless you are retired a certain number of years. It just goes to credibility, thats all im saying. | |

Atleast Randy retired at some point. What about Matt Hughes? He never retired even for a day. That one makes less sense to me.

That and we don't even know what JDS's ground game is like, the only time he got taken down was by Gabe and that was a half ass takedown fix

What does Roy beating JDS have to do with this convo? NOTHING! Your saying that Carwin is better than JDS, not that roy is better than him.

He beat them at openweight didn't he? He was never the heavyweight champion and Bas was.
he was superfight champ which ended up being the lineal title to the heavyweight championship There were no weight divisions then though. When they started weight divisions he fought at light-heavyweight. It's like saying Royce Gracie was 1 of the best ever heavyweights also. ya 5 years later he went down to light heavy and still competed at heavyweight as well he was a heavyweight IMO

| I have to be honest and say that I'm actually shocked that Wolf didn't throw Werdum a bone. He's Wolf's current linear champ and beat the GOAT...
There's no list for me... Fedor is still #1 and there's a small group fighting it out for #2 way behind him. Then there's a bigger group fighting it out for 6-10 but any could probably be argued for #6 as easily as they could be argued #16...

| I could see a case for Werdum before I saw a case for Carwin. Werdum has a much more impressive resume than either of the two giant wrestlers. | |

I agree. He holds 2 wins over Gonzaga, 1 over Reem, Bigfoot and Emelianenko bros. IMO that is better then Carwin's resume.

| Carwin's resume is a win over Gonzaga and Mir, and nothing else. | |
