you know what i have to swallow me words here. I said i really didnt like the light guys, specially bantam weight. But i was ingorant as i never really sat down and watched a full event. But man these lil mo fo's can fight man. balls out attitude actually makes for some really good fights. I think watching these card was the best thing i could have down. I thought Brain was a future contender the first time I saw him but I thought he was too wild at his stage for Torres.

However, my biggest knock on Torres is that he eats a lot of shots in his battles in the octagon-lite. That catches up with fighters in this day and age. GSP, Fedor, Machida, BJ and Silva don't ever really get hit a whole lot. Torres wasn't in that class. He would get routinely tested by smaller fighters from Japan who traditionally have trouble in America. And who had much shorter reach.

I knew Bowles was the shit but I thought he was still too green for Torres. This is fucking huge.
