And maybe if you had a family member die in the towers you would understand how that can be found offensive...

Wade didn't say it would be like 9/11 if they lost a few games. He said the media try to make it seem that way. High taste, not really, single him out for it based on the medias twisting of quotes to fabricate a story giving truth to his the full meaning of his words, hypocrisy.

It was a bad choice of words to use.. but I understood what he was trying to say and believe that his intent wasn't to be offensive.. sometimes you choose the wrong words to say..

nah dude, you dont get it obviously. The orginal statement it's self is very offensive still, he was wrong to bring WTC into it, that is still not a wound that is fully healed for alot of people. I now he was talking about the media, but he still shouldn't have said it.

The reaction to his statement just proves his point. People are unbelievable.

no, you guys are acting like it's completely ok to use WTC reference to sports. That is not ok by any means, and maybe if you lost a family member or drive by where the towers used to stand everyday, maybe you would get where im coming from.
