| exactly. Im saying a win against Lytle probably gets him a fight that will get him in contention. But im not about to get into an argument about this. I think Lytle is gonna take it. | |

- No but there really isnt a ton of guys out there that GSP hasnt beat! He is fighting guys he has already dominated and after Kos hisnext fight will be vs Alves or Fitch 2 guys he beat to death. My point is at least Serra has a win over GSP! That should give him a rubber match if he beats Lytle and maybe 1 more top 10 guy.
One more? How about 1 to start with? Lytle is probably top 15, but no one has him in the top 10. The guy is a warrior but look watch happened when he fought Hughes, Kos, & Alves. He even dropped a decision to Davis which isn't a bad loss, but Davis isn't near top 10 material.

| I think Serra definitely beats Lytle but he'll need another fight for a title shot | |

| Trigg was awesome at MW and is a legend at WW with numerous title bids in the past. His name is worth more than he was as an actual fighter and I still think Trigg is a solid guy anyway. But Serra also has that close fight with Hughes and the GSP win still working for him.
I'm thinking in realistic terms here and with the state of the division being full of other guys GSP has beat up about as easily(none with wins also over him save Hughes) and with the UFC's history of leap frogging past champions back to the front giving them special opportunities (Randy Couture, Frank Mir anyone?) I would say Matt Serra after an impressive KO win here would easily be placed in that amorphous cloud of "in the mixers" according to Dana at the post fight press conference.

| I hear the criticisms of WW but Lytle is probably top ten at this point in the UFC's eyes. He's super entertaining, well rounded, and a fan favorite in a division full of mediocre talent even at the "top level". | |

Wolf thats pretty much what I was saying. He has the win over GSP and his loss to Hughes I thought was pretty close. He wouldnt beat GSP but I beat with another win or 2 Dana would start positioning him for another title shot.
