Not only that, he actually had the best Sub of the night, not that Brock's wasn't impressive.

Brock's was more impressive because of how Rogan said Carwin was safe because of his arm, and then Brock tapped him 3 seconds later.

Nah Lytle was impressive too for real.

Lytle pulled off one of the coolest subs I've seen this year. Totally screwed tonight.

MMAjunkie has an article up:

"What I expect of these guys is I expect these guys to go out and perform," White said. "Let me tell you this, and I mean it, we're writing some [expletive] checks tonight. We're writing checks – more than what you heard here tonight. Guys are going to get well taken care of tonight. Sounds like Lytle and everyone else is going to get money just not the title of sub of the night.

The difference is Lytle is a seasoned veteran known to pull some slick subs out of his hat at times. I didn't see anyone at all predicting Brock to win the fight by Sub. We just had this discussion about Fight of the Year candidates. How Werdum's Sub over Fedor has an edge simply because of the high level of both fighters. This is almost in the same concept as far as the "star power" factor. Brock Lesnar subbed undefeated Shane Carwin, Chris Lytle subbed a guy he already subbed three years ago.
