| I don't think the Knicks get anyone, or only get like Amare which IMO isn't as good as you'd think.
It was Bron or bust for them

It was Bron or bust for them as good as who thinks? Honestly if we only sign Amare i will view the free agency period as a complete failure and understand that we will probably have the worst record in the league. But like i said, i'll be ecstatic if we get Carmello.

| Some would think getting a top player like Amare was a good thing, I personally think Amare without Nash won't be quite as good, not saying you, some people. | |

Alright, my turn to chime in. Actually, didnt the Celtics sign the Big 3 and gel pretty well in their first year together? I believe they beat YOUR lakers for the championship in their first year of "gelling". Had that been a younger group of guys, the Celts would be the dynasty right now, not your Lakers. If Bron went to Chicago, they'd have the finals locked up...maybe not this year, but very soon IMO...if Bron goes to Miami and plays with Wade and Bosh...championship this year. If Bron stays in Cleveland, they'll do well but lose in the playoffs again. All in All, I think the Lakers AND Phil Jackson are overrated.

| And let me tell you why Phil Jackson is overrated.
What coach wouldnt have won with Michael Jordon and those Bulls teams?
What coach wouldnt have won with the old Lakers with Shaq and Kobe?
What coach wouldnt have won with the team they have now?
IMO at least 80% of all NBA head coaches could do just as good of a job with that kinda talent on their team.

| 11 Championships, 3 straight Finals appearances, 2 straight Championships overrated?
That year it was the big 3, but that team was deep as hell, not to mention Bynum going down would have probably changed that series a lot, a 7 footer in the paint always does.
Bron, Wade and Bosh together and they'd have literally no bench, I'd love to see it because I think they'd end up falling to a team.

You're really underestimating what he does, I suggest you read ESPN the mags article about him and what players say he doesn't do which allows them to grow and win. Other coaches have had great players and not gotten it done, Phil is the greatest coach ever in sports.

| Coaches who've had great players and not gotten it done, I think you don't really know all the things Phil does as a coach. | |

| What are you going to do when Bosh signs in OKC and Gasol is deported for tax evasion? And Kobe goes to jail for raping Rihanna ? And Phil dies of old age? What then LA? | |
