Grant might be an ass sometimes but I would never mock somebody who's lost their home.

yeah, this world is rather cruel.

I also wonder if we have the wrong idea of life (at least life here in the US).

You are supposed to get up early. Get ready for work. Travel 30 mins minimum to get there. Put in 8-9 hours plus lunch (or more), drive home. Be so tired and stressed you sit in front of the tv to veg out. Get up, do it all over again.

Make as much money as possible. Buy as much crap as possible. Buy the biggest house possible.
Enjoy your crappy 10 days vacation.

I'm a bit disillusioned with what is considered a normal life in the States.

That's a reality a lot of people settle for. The choice is yours.

Or be like me and choose to educate the youth of America and only work 187 days a year for about 7 hours a day.

It was all in good fun... I'd hope even Grant found it funny deep down inside. I mean I offered to leave bread and hot cocoa out for him. How can anyone take that seriously?

Anyways, I meant no harm by it. Grant is stubborn and I don't always agree with him.... but, I don't have anything against him.
