| I am of the belief that parents, wives, and kids shouldn't be at fights.
Kids don't know how to react when Daddy gets beat down. Some posters on ESPN board would make fun of the kids crying (which was pretty sick even for that board). Parents have to feel physically ill when their son gets plastered all over the canvas. Wives-get up and leave when their husband is getting beat so bad that after the fight it looks he got hit repeatedly in the face with a 2 x 4.
Just keep them away. | |

| Ricky isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but even he has to know if he hadn't been Ricky Hatton, millionaire boxer, but rather was Ricky Hatton, ordinary bloke with a factory job, drinking too much at the pub, and watching football, then he would have had no shot at landing her.

| If I were her, I would have been thinking, I know he hit you, but why in the blue hell did you go diving into the ringpost like that.
Ricky threw himself at it the way Kermit the frog Cintron throws himself at tables outside the ring.

| Funny thread Bird, Ricky's family must have been in shock when Pacquiao put his lights out. It was a little scary, Hatton looked almost dead laying there flat after the KO, one of the most perfect and devestating knockouts of all time.
I will say this for Ricky, unlike his fellow countryman, Calzagne, at least he challenged himself and fought the best.

| Ricky has a beautiful wife. I'm glad he's retired with all his facilities. He's always been one of my favorite fighters to watch. Just because he couldn't beat Pacquiao, doesn't mean he's a bum. Far from it. One of the best fighters of his era. | |

She sure as hell didn't marry Hatton for his good looks and personality.

She sure as hell didn't marry Hatton for his good looks and personality. Who knows why she married him? Don't you see ordinary looking guys with beautiful chicks all the time? They're not that hard to get. She is where she is. Hats off to Ricky for landing a beaut.
