| Anyone hear about Dana threatening to terminate all contracts with Tapout if they sold the Fedor walkout Shirt on Saturday. They caved. The shirts sucked anyways (all tapout shirts do, at least the one's with the tapout logo) but it besides my point. I hate the monopoly and imperialistic tactics. It's petty garbage. For all the things Dana does that I like, there are equal things happening I hate. Main-event salaries, merchandising, games, contracts, signings. The guy is gonna be known as DK in the end. | |

| GDP this was already posted, though it is buried. Next time I suggest not drowning yourself in beer/wine coolers for two days when Fedor or Shogun lose again. | |

| It's his prerogative to do as he sees fit. He thinks that these tactics are how business should be done, and he's trying to do what he feels is in his and the UFC's best interest. He's wrong, but it's his business to run. Having Fedor sporting a Tapout shirt would have about as much negative affect on the UFC as having LA or Wolf wear one... | |

That's all true but there is no reason for me to like it.

| Yeah GDP... There's not many that approve of Dana's moronic business tactics, but they seem to work for the Fertitta's. He's going to irritate us daily one way or another until one of them makes him turtle up... | |

| I wish Tapout would of ballzed up and told Dana to take two steps back and literally fuck his own face. Their annoying seal is big enough to sell now for a while, and when it does finally burnout(it will) where they were would be of little significance.
Make UFC have to go with Affliction as their main, the company they assaulted and eventually enslaved into their custody. Tapout had their brand on other fighters Saturday and in all other orgs too. But the fighter who Dana and UFC have been trying so hard to work with, to get him to come to UFC and fight their guys, No! We'll cut all ties.
In all honesty there is nothing that makes me believe Zuffa has ever actually fathomed allowing Fedor in the UFC. We all know it's not about the fights, its $. They have been doing all they can to devalue Fedor for over 2 years now, his skill, his opponents, his management, his circuit, his marketability. The more people that eat that bullshit, and it's sad but true because we know how many do, the less they need or want Fedor in their Org.

The more people that eat that bullshit, and it's sad but true because we know how many do, the less they need or want Fedor in their Org. Why wouldn't they? He would have literally give them the best fighter in every single weight class(until saturday that is) and that in itself is money on the table. M1 made demands that the UFC were not prepared to oblige and it's just that simple. Sorry but M1 has no business demanding co promotion when they supply one fighter to an entire event that the UFC planned, paid for, booked a venue for, set up, and advertised. Why should M1 get to take a big piece of the revenue for supplying one fighter? I realize it's the main event and that fighter is a gem and a half, but thats like changing the name of the Texas State Fair to the Texas and Billy Bob State Fair just because Billy Bob agreed to perform on stage for twenty minutes. As far as trying to devalue him thats just good business. You won't ever catch a Nike rep wearing Reeboks. When dealing with a competitor you always always ALWAYS present your product as though it is superior whether it is or not. Until Fedor signs with the UFC you will never hear him getting recognition from Dana in the honest sense of the word.

| Best business practice for UFC is to have Fedor never enter the octagon. Their best money(not fighter, secondary) showed up already. Operation devalue and discredit into irrelevancy continues until it's truth because there are more hungry mouths getting stuffed every day. | |

Best business practice for UFC is to have Fedor never enter the octagon. Their best money(not fighter, secondary) showed up already. Operation devalue and discredit into irrelevancy continues until it's truth because there are more hungry mouths getting stuffed every day. UFC president Dana White was one of many who watched as Fedor suffered his first defeat in ten years to the heavily decorated Brazillian Jiu-Jistu practitioner Fabricio Werdum. White who has been very vocal on his thoughts of the Russian heavyweight claimed he felt vindicated while on tour for UFC 116. “I’ve been saying it for years, Fedor is not a top 10 heavyweight. He just got beat by a guy who couldn’t cut it in the UFC in the first round. There’s at least 10 fighters in the UFC right now who would beat Fedor even worse.”Despite the harsh criticism White stated he would still be willing to offer the former WAMMA champion a new contract if he wishes to sign on with the UFC. “Tell you what, if he wants to sign with the UFC now, the previous contract where I offered him an insane amount of money is off the table. I’ll give him a new contract, 20K to show and 20K to win. If he doesn’t accept it, too bad.”Thanks Dana, I was wondering if you were ever serious about bringing in Fedor. Obviously everything worked out like you wanted and you will be able to continue avoiding having him in the UFC.

Come on now but why does it have to be a one of the other scenario? Why can't Tapout deal with both?

| The movie 'Casino' was based on the skimming of the Fremont Casino, when Frank Fertitta jr was it's President.
In 1976 the Kansas City mobster Carl Thomas formed a partnership with Frank Fertitta jr and they started a 5000 square foot gaming venue aptly named 'The Casino', the name would later be changed to 'The Bingo Palace' and eventually 'Palace Station'

| The FBI had long suspected an elaborate skimming operation was taking place at some of the four Glick owned casinos and launched 'Operation Strawman', which was a massive surveillance operation that included telephone wiretaps. It is in one of these wiretaps that Frank Fertitta jr becomes implicated in the skimming operation. In this particular scam, the management rigged the scales to make them read only a third of the actual weight of the coins. The extra money was skimmed and set aside, later being converted into paper bills. The skimming was taking place at The Tropicana and at the Fremont, where Frank Ferttita jr was the President | |
