God, this makes me want to live in Cali! I bet this event is going to be fantastic. You will note that the first picture one sees on the poster is Chuck. But I was glad to see he was sponsoring the event through his company.

Cal poly was his program. This show raised like 100k or something and saved their program.

I was aware that he went to Cal-Poly, Wolf I do read you know ;P Seriously though I am glad the evenet helped them so much, I wish they would do something like that here to raise awareness and money for the wrestling programs.

They may. During the Inside MMA program they said after the success of the show they got three other offers from wrestling programs to do this. Wrestling more and more is embracing MMA as almost a matter of survival. I know the community is somewhat split as wrestlers also are leaving the post college levels of competition in favor of MMA competition.

Strange relationship the two sports have. I wonder what things will look like in ten years.

I see the evolution happening everywhere, but I have to deal with a lot of traditionalist in Alabama, who have a hard time seeing the big picture.
