| Went to a Tool concert this past Sunday night. Fucking awesome, if you ever get a chance go see them. We have floor seats probably like 20 rows back in the Toyota Center. Maynard is a badass. | |

| Always good for a great show. I get fucking tired of their refusal to play any more than one song off Undertow these days but its awesome. Carey is the shit | |

| Did Maynard actually face the crowd this time? When I went they toured with Mike Patton's band Tomahawk and the fans all threw shit at the stage, then Maynard and tool came out and Maynard wouldn't even face the fans or say anything at all. Great light show. Smoked a lot of weed in the stands. Had bowl seats but just jumped down to the floor and got crammed into a sea of people. Good times. | |

| I went once and Maynard came out dressed like a priest and sang at the front of the stage the whole show. The other 6-7 times I've seen them he either was totally not visible on the stage and was back behind Carey so you could barely see him. He's a strange fucking dude.
Wolf, are you a fan of Tomahawk? I fucking love Mike Patton and I dig his shit with that band. Some of his other side projects are tougher to get into though

| Mike Patton stuff never appealed to me, not that I've given it a fair chance either. | |

| I'm a huge Faith No More fan so I've given most of his side projects a listen and Tomahawk is probably my favorite of the bunch | |

| I'm going on the 13th...What is the set list?
Saw them in 2001 and they played almost nothing except Lateralus..it was an awesome show but i wish they mixed it up a bit...they played Aenima, Stinkfist, Undertow and all the songs on Lateralus.

| Thats when I saw them. I am not really a big fan of the earlier tool albums as much as the more developed third and fourth. This latest one from like 07 or whatever seems Lateralus rehashed. Also I've somewhat grown out of tool anyway. | |

| The way they had the light show set up you could only see Maynard's silhouette against the lighting backdrop. I thought it was a really cool way to do it cause you could see all his dancing and shit. At the beginning of the concert he walked out on stage and took pictures of each band member with his cell phone. It was an awesome concert though and yeah, great light show and video. | |

| Here is a pic I snapped real quick with my cell phone. It was the only one I could get cause they were taking up cameras and phones left and right, no pictures aloud. Security was everywhere. You can see Maynard's silhouette nicely in the pic, though. | |

| Tool has always been one of my favorite bands and concerts to go to. My AV is Tool inspired. Maynard is odd no doubt. I've seen his priest routine, onece he was almost naked painted in gold and was behind everyone spazing out the whole show. The last time I went he looked like a redneck farm hand, busted fader jeans, sleeveless flannel and beat up straw looking hat. The show I went to in Ænima times was probably the best metal concert I've ever been to. | |

| What's everybody favorite album? Lateralus is one of my favorite songs of all-time but Undertow takes the cake as my favorite album. That fucking shit never gets old. | |

Yeah dude Undertow for sure. All of them are great, though. I went to see A Perfect Circle awhile back and we never saw Maynard during the show. He was standing in the back somewhere singing. I was pissed but of course that's his thing I guess.

| Undertow is my favorite Tool album. Bottom(featuring the insanely awesome Henry Rollins), Swamp Song, Sober, Intolerence, Flood, Prison Sex, 7 Degrees...possibly my favorite album ever.
Then i'd say Lateralus. Aenima. Opiate. 10,000 Days.
Bigs, When i saw A Perfect Circle at Lollapalooza Maynard spent almost half the set behind a curtain but eventually came out. I don't mind it really..i've always found Maynard's reclusive persona intriuging.
Can't wait for the 13th...from what i read online, it's a pretty diverse set list as opposed to when i saw them in 2001.

I don't really mind it either but I at least wanted to see him at some point during the show. We literally never saw him at all. I like his style for sure and to be honest I loved what they did at the concert I just went to. You could see everything Maynard did, just blacked out. It was cool and innovative.

| The only thing I hate about Tool's setlist is they should be the kind of band that is rocking a different setlist every night IMO. Plus like I said too little of Undertow always. The last time I saw them Flood was the only thing off the album which is unacceptable given things like Rosetta Stoned being played which was one of the worst songs off 10,000 Days | |

| A light show as complex as theirs can't really be jumbled around very much. | |

| True the light show is the big reason for keeping the list the same but I would just rather fuck the lights then | |
