Rank these welterweights

The WW division has gotten a lot of play here at Ninjasplace lately with some spirited debates. Rank these and only these welterweights from best to worst skill for skill out of this group. In other words, do not base the rankings on their real life WW rankings which are at the mercy of the promotion they are in and who they have fought recently. This isn't easy though, as Hardy is my kneejerk best fighter when I first typed the list, but then again Askren would maul him soundly already based on the matchup issue imo.

I expect opinions on these fighters to vary wildly.

Askren #1 after that it's difficult

Not saying you didn't know, but it's who beats who kind of thing, resume not included, Askren would take Condit, Kamp and Hardy down at will.

Honestly, i'm so embarrased by Zaromskis that all i know is that he's ranked last of all those guys....he needs to kick somebody's head off pronto.

i recognize askren's skill, but don't get out of control. Condit is a seasoned veteran an no one takes him out easily.

The way Condit was getting taken down by Rory, would have me worried if he were fighting Askren.

Kings I agree, I was gonna put him last or tied with Good.

The Askren nut hugging is seriously out of control. Can't say I'm surprised, though.

He had an impressive performance, doesn't mean he's gonna be the next GSP.

Is GSP on that list bigs?



No one "nut hugged" him or said anything that wasn't rational. Askren hater on a hair trigger in da house.

I know it is premature to say how could he could or could not be with five fights, but this kid is a legitimate prospect of the highest order. Maybe if he had five fights, wrestling not this good, a submission loss and a chest tat of a human weiner we could say he would beat the best P4P fighters and WWs of all time. Did you expect something different in my rankings? Condit being the best fighter among that group is not far-fetched.. You said in your OP to put aside current rankings.. I have Hardy and Kamp ranked higher than condit.. but Condit really beat Kamp and can beat Hardy as well.

Condit vs. Hornbuckle would be a dope fight

I have Condit higher up and he has more notable wins, but still that'd be a great fight

I would watch all of those.

It'd be a solid set of fights, thought about Thiago vs. Zarom, but was trying to think of another guy for him

Dan Hardy - hey he just went 5 with GSP, who else has on this list
Martin Kampmann - just keeps winning
Lyman GOod - maybe a bit to high but hes undefeated and a tough guy
Dan Hornbuckle -Sengoku vet, tough man
Carlos Condit - lucky win but he is toug all around
Zaromskis - another grinder like Kampmann
Johny Hendricks - regressed since Sadollah imo
Paulo Thiago - was real high on him but looked like shit last fight
