Sean Sherk vs Gleison Tibau moved to UFC 104

A lightweight bout between Sean Sherk (33-4-1 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and Gleison Tibau (12-7 MMA, 5-4 UFC), first targeted for UFC 103 in September, will instead take place in October at UFC

I wonder if Sherk will get Freddy Roach in his corner to work on his boxing. He's still trying to put on exciting fights, right?

Sherk's boxing is solid. He just has short stubby arms that don't connect even vs longer guys. He needs to go back to using his wrestling to transition to take downs.

It sucks I don't get to see him @ 103.

Tibau has nothing for Sherk...

Sherk needs to stick to high paced grappling and ground and pound. Then he can rematch kenny again after BJ beats him and own him again.

Damn, I like both guys and was hoping to see this one at 103. Oh well.

I read something on one of the popular MMA blogsites that brokedown what is wrong with his boxing, and some of it was valid, his movement, lack of feints, lack of takedowns attempts to vary his attack, but still, I argued in the comments that Sherk's striking isn't significantly worse than most other MMA fighters in his weight class, he just has midge arms. If he had another 6 inches of reach he'd be puttin' suckas to sleep.
