- "Oh, by the way, from everything that I can gather, the UFC closed circuit bombed [Saturday] night."
"I mean just a lot of reports of 20 people, 16 people, 35 people in theaters."
"It wasn’t the show for it."
"You know, I mean the bar stuff I’ve heard you know people say that there was 1/5th as many people as [UFC 114] and… again, I mean, you know you can’t come, it’s two weeks, it’s real quick to come back and I mean for any show and this was I mean you know they ended up having a good show but it was just too quick and you know in between two monster main events, ... they booked a match that people really didn’t want to see. ...Most people really don’t want to see Rich Franklin get knocked out and everyone loves Chuck." Dave Melzer's radio show. Bad news for the card true, but great for my sig bets.

| Not necessarily Wolf, just because it bombed in theatres doesnt mean it didnt do that well.
I didnt even know theatres were showing PPV events.
The bar I went to was packed...I had to wait an hour just to get a table. It didnt help that i didnt get there til 9:45, but still.

| I didn't hear much buzz from casual fans, I think this PPV following Rampage vs Rashad's hype is going to hurt the numbers. Casual fans got built up for that PPV. | |

| You live in Ohio right regret? Wasn't it you who reported a heavy Franklin bias from the fans you watched with? Franklin hails from Ohio right? Food for thought. | |

| Just like the nation would give a fuck less about Oregon making it to a BCS game, but the BWW's in Portland would be overflowing. | |

| Its a possibility but I'm not too sure. I live in Cincy where Rich is from and the bars weren't anymore busy than usual and actually were less crowded. I think people from around casually root for Franklin but its not like he has a die hard Cincy following | |

It didnt help that i didnt get there til 9:45, but still. if you go to any bar around 10 your gonna have to wait i get to the bars around 730, normally there are already lotta people tehre, there wasnt , didnt help either that most people got drunk early watching world cup know a girl that works at a bar said they average between 25 to 30 grand on UFC nights, said they did half that for Chuck vs Rich

| The numbers in those settings being down just wouldn't be an indicator of more in-home purchases LA. This card was destined for failure. | |

| All I know is I didn't watch it live. My buddy who usually gets them didn't get em. And another buddy, who is a good but casual fan was high on the "who wants to see these old fucks fight?" mantra. | |
