It was ight. Definitely not on the level of a Spidey or Iron Man for me. Too many parts of it I felt were rushed/disjointed and his relationship with Portman made zero sense. Not bad though

The Hawkeye cameo was definitely rushed, that felt pointless.
Did you stick around for the post credits scene ?

Yeah, nice preview but I've made my feelings about Jackson as Nick Fury very clear in the past. Fucking dumb

Rented Skyline and The Tourist this week.
The Tourist was ok, I can tolerate it. Decent time filler.
Skyline was so bad I had to switch it off halfway through. It become comical.
In what conceivable way was Thor better than Spider-Man?

Just finished watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, brilliant movie but extremely bleak and depressing.
Struggle to see why Fincher is doing an American version.
The books are huge over here and most people aren't even aware that the movies from Sweden exist

I liked the first one a lot, was kinda eh on the next two. I'm not a fan of American version of things most of the time, but I think Fincher will do a good job. He's shown expertise in the creepy, murder mystery fields before with Zodiac and Se7en

Fincher is very talented in that genre, I just don't see how he'll be able compete with the original. I suppose it might work for people who haven't stumbled on the series already.
Not that sure about Rooney Mara for Lisbeth.

BTW those scenes with Lisbeth's guardian were fucked up.
