REPORT: Birdofthad has been fined $10,000 and 1 reputation point for criticizing NBA officials during the Los Angeles Lakers game 5 loss to the Boston Celtics.

The Lakers made it to the line 26 times to the Celtics 13.Kobe got a gift from the Zebras on his foul from Allen on his three attempt.The Celtics should be the ones pissing and moaning.

As if the Celtics didn't get favorable calls too in this series

The refs have been overzealous with the whistles on both sides.No sense in bitching about bad calls,they've been consistently lousy.

I recently heard former referee Tim Donaghy in a radio interview state he said this series was going seven games and the referees would try to steal the limelight.He seems to know the routine.

And Softies? come on dude, they're the defending Champs and lost their starting Center bacially after game 1, were the Celtics soft for not even making it to the Finals without KG last year?

This is nothing new. NBA officiating has been corrupt for certainly the last decade, probably the last 20 years. The Lakers were the benefactor of bad officiating against the Kings back when they had CWebb, Bibby, Divac, etc.
