This was set up as the worst wek possible. Of all the finals fights this one had the lowest luster, and it was backed up by garbage.

Next week will have 2 finals, both of which feature more intriguing matchups(imo at least).


but the tourney format does set up for less meaningful fights appearing on the later cards. The early dates all have tournament fights and some cards were enhanced by the superfights featuring the champs. These cards have one tournament fight and then couple "who?" fights.

I think overall this season has been very good, but agree with wolf that the next season could be brutal. I like girl fights peppered in here and there, but a whole tournament? Eh. And the fat heavies? ugh.
