His title fight with Rashad will be pushed back a little

just read this. It sucks big time. Any word on how serious the surgery is?

I don't know, but the key word is "another"...thats bad news no matter how big the actual surgery is because his knee problems are not behind him.

They say anything after 2 knee surgeries in the NFL means trouble, barring a scope to clean up some minor debris. Lets hope that is all it is. On the other hand Mark Schlereth played at 245 lbs on the OL and had 20 knee surgeries, so who knows...

I hope we get an "Interim" title fight while he is out. Any excuse to make a top contender fight a 5 rounder I'm all for it.

Makes the most sense, Lil Nog was always going to get the next title shot after Rashad.

No because he beat Poopt Pants, then lost to Mir. Then beat Randy in a non title 3 round fight. Randy was coming off a loss and it was almost a year since he lost the title.

We don't know. It was a close fight then. He fought Timmy in 2/08 and fought Randy 8/09. A year and a half at thier age could make a difference in a fairly close dec fight.

Nog would beat Randy at any time during their careers 9/10 fights but no, it doesn't make his title more than an interm title.

educated guess at best. Captain America was game when the fought and would have been game at any time. It would be completely different if it was a dominant performance by Nog. Sure he won but Randy put up a fight.

Any Nogs boxing is better than any Randy boxing. The younger Randy gets the worse his boxing and submission defense get relative to what Nog has. Randy only got decent boxing after 40 really.

Can't underestimate heart, cardio and smart game planning. Randy has the unmeasurable qualities. Credit to Nog for showing plenty of that himself though.

One measurable quality Randy also has that Nog doesn't is a boatload of losses during their primes.
