| That, and the presence of Freddie Roach, are the only reasons why I think the fight could be interesting if it ever happens. Floyd has been bothered by the southpaw stance before. Zab won the first four rounds against him and even made him touch the canvas. Corley managed to hurt him. Could Pacquiao use the southpaw stance to his advantage? If there is anyone that could possibly come up with a gameplan to beat Mayweather then its gotta be Roach. I think Floyd will win but I'm hoping that somehow Pac and Roach can pull it off. | |

| It might, but I think it's Manny's speed and his unorthodox angles that will cause Mayweather the most problems. |

| yes the southpaw stance plus the volume of punches from different angles tossed by pac will give floyd a lot of trouble....so will floyds counterpunching right hand lead give pac problems.. | |

| By the way sorry for mentioning these two. I know we're all sick of hearing about them but this is a topic about the actual fight should it happen. | |

Yeah I expect that to be the story of the fight but I'm hoping we at least get a competitive fight or even an upset.

You're right I forgot about the punches from crazy angles. How often has Floyd encountered that?

| Strange thought. If Cotto had Oscar's chin, would he have been able to knock Pac out? | |

| I think it will but the biggest thing will be Pac's combo of speed and power. Its such a 50/50 fight because neither guy has seen anything like they will that night. |

Probably not, Cotto is too methodical to catch Manny. |

| I think Pacs southpaw stance and his speed would present PBF with problems! When PBF adjusted to the speed and footwork of Judah in the fight Zab had no corner help to adjust himself all Zab's pops told him was that Larry Merchant is over talking shit! HAHA! The first 3 or 4 rounds would be a bit slow and feeling out on both sides and then who ever adjust will win the fight! PBF by UD IMO | |

| I think that floyd is going to badly beat Pacquiao. He's just too long and smart for Pac. Pac's reckless abandon style will be neutralized by the timing and ring IQ of Floyd. This fight will be stopped in the tenth. | |

I agree Floyd wins, but I think he becomes the aggressor and is walking Manny down and ending it inside 8.

Exactly. A southpaw can affect Floyd if they have the length and speed to box with him. Manny needs to get inside. He can do that, but not because he's a southpaw. If anything Floyd can let loose his right hand lead again without worrying so much about a right coming over the top like with JMM and Mosley. |

I hope he tries we will get to see Floyd on his back. JMM is a counter punching Orthodox fighter. Styles make fights. Manny is a balls out swarming southpaw. The recipe for a stoppage is there especially when Manny's hypothetical opponent in this case is a guy that has an unbelieveable right hand/ lead right. Floyd's advantages in reach, technique and timing prevail in this fight.
