| Great for football if you ask me. I really thought the NCAA would just make the basketball team the sacraficial lamb in all this. USC has a lot of conections with the NCAA, so they must have fucked up something big.
Now they need to go after Bammer because they cheat. They've never stopped cheating.

| Should Auburn get credit with the Championship? Wasn't that the year they went undefeated and got snubbed? | |

This is pretty big news. Thought the football team would just get probation.
How's that Kiffin? Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy
http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/ncf/news/story?id=5267933 30 scholarships Just goes to show how sick every facet of College Football is really. The big story being reported is USC loses big money from lack of Bowl games. Money > Athletes > Students. The whole mention of 30 lost scholarships is at most forced. "That's not important. Those kids will just get picked up somewhere else anyways. " The thing is they will but the trickle down effect will bump it's way down to some other potential student athlete whose opportunity will be ripped away because of the actions of a greedy dirty player. And that's what 99% of this boils down to, Reggie Bush's greed. He organized to receive these hundreds of thousands of dollars, then when he was a millionaire wouldn't pay it back. How many different ways can this guy go wrong without being subject to any accountability? "well maybe we'll take away his Heisman" great, like he cares, if his Heisman was built out of stacks of green cash he might. The NCAA or someone, I don't know who, needs to look at some serious litigation to mitigate the punishing of prospective student athletes for the wrongs committed by those who have moved on. Here is an idea, Reggie Bush you received over $600,000 of monetary benefits in violation of NCAA conduct policy, now your a millionaire, but instead of punishing 30 would be student athletes for your faults we are going to sue you and your funders via income ratio distribution to make you pay the 30 4-year scholarships.

| Here is a stinger I just seen on ESPN.
All Junior and Senior players are eligible to transfer without sitting out a year if they wish to do so since USC is on probation and cant compete in bowl games the next couple years.
This could be huge lol. | |

This could be huge lol. Just saw this on espn and was about to post it here. This could be big! I think this could ruin USC and I couldn't be happier. The NCAA hammered Bama like this in the 90s and 2000s and they didn't recover till a couple years ago.

| I'm stoked. I HATE USC..not just the university...but even the majority of the people that live in that area...they just have an arrogance about them that pisses me off.
Serves them right. Lets go NCAA keep the punishment coming! hahaha

| Other schools are allowed to initiate the contact with the juniors and seniors too. USC HAS to allow any junior or senior to leave that wishes too.
HAHAHA I love this. How much do you Trojan fans love Carroll and Bush now? LMAO

I think this goes much deeper than Reggie Bush. He will become the scapegoat but it's not that simple. Joe McKnight was the #1 ranked tailback in the country and was commited to LSU the entire year, days before signing day, he switched to USC. They get the #1 or #2 RB every year. That goes beyond USC being a great football school, there's money changing hands. Usually speaking, a school doesn't land 5 elite RBs in consecutive recruiting classes. USC did.

That goes beyond USC being a great football school, there's money changing hands. Usually speaking, a school doesn't land 5 elite RBs in consecutive recruiting classes. USC did. It' primarily Bush. This kind of thing is sadly common to think it's a USC thing is biased, it's going on in big football and basketball all over for good players, not being caught is a paper cup, but it's the idiot's like Bush or Maurice Clarett that that piss me off. Bush isn't a scapegoat he's a reason 30 prospective students athletes don't get to attend and play at college somewhere on the merits of their abilities. I could care less about USC, they should face administrative penalties for their lack of oversight, but I'm not going to shrink into pettiness of celebrating a system of disciplining those who have done nothing wrong, the punished potential student athletes, while there is no action to be taken against the culprit directly responsible for the action or those sports agents who facilitated his transactions.
