| This season was beyond boring, but there at least a hand full of talented fighters. Court and Tavares have futures in the UFC. McCray and Byrant also might hang around. I have no idea though why they didn't even give Nick Ring a fight on the finale. He beat Court and had the most potential out of all the fighters on this season...what a waste. | |

- i agree. Josh Bryant is good, and i thought the 2nd fight with Savage was pretty close. Tavares is raw but shows a lot of potential.
Jager shouldn't even get a fight on the finale. Fucking quitter. Talks all that shit and quits on the stool? Tito was actually right that guy is a pussy. The guy has good athleticism but I don't think he will have get the mental side down. He doesn't fight smart, he doesn't seem to be mentally tough enough. If his straight kicks aren't working he falls apart.

Injuries might play a part in Nick not getting a fight(just a guess). I thought Casey should have had a fight too.

- I'm glad im not the only one who thought it was a good fight and that Court has been impressive. The majority of the board is really negative on this season...and I think its way better than last year as far as overall talent goes. Not any names like Roy Nelson, but as a whole its a good class this year.
Oh...and I love how the fighters on the show were raving about that marine that was in the corps for 23 years...the Dude was only a Sergeant after 23 years...that is shitty as fuck...im surprised he wasnt forced out a while back for taking so long to rank up. The dude was 18 when he enlisted and is 41 now and still serving our country...a little respect for the man. Dont get me wrong, I respect anyone that serves our country. I'm just saying that 23 years in and only being a Sergeant is terrible. I know several guys around here that got the boot because they didnt rank up fast enough.

| I don't care if he is still a private, I have mad respect for him(not saying you don't). He has been in the military longer then you have been alive, that is admirable...no matter what rank he is. Still impressive none the less. | |

| Yes Titles aren't everything. Maybe he doesn't want to be some high ranking official who sits in an office all day? Maybe he likes being where the action is? Im just saying... | |

Just because you are high ranking doesnt mean you sit around at a desk all day.

Just because you are high ranking doesnt mean you sit around at a desk all day. I think Oggy was more trying to say we don't know his situation and his reasons. That is it. He was just giving a possible scenario. I think you get where we are coming from. Also I realize you aren't trying to disrespect the man.

| you'd probably know better than me. Im just saying it's not like he's some failure. He's still a Marine and serves his county proud.
also, i thought the Marines did practice Jiu Jitsu and stuff? That guy on the show said they don't do any ground fighting and that is contrary to what i've heard.

Listen...I will be the first to tell you that I think Marines are the biggest badasses on the planet lol. You are just twisting what I am saying into something that I am not. I respect the hell outta anyone...past or present in the marine corps because they do what less than 1% of this country is willing to do. Just saying 23 years to rank up to an E-5 is pretty bad lol my recruiter got up to an E-5 in 5 years...soooo...yeah, just not sure whats the deal there. Still got mad respect...especially since I was considering doing that stuff for a living.

also, i thought the Marines did practice Jiu Jitsu and stuff? That guy on the show said they don't do any ground fighting and that is contrary to what i've heard. Yeah, that is a boldface lie lol. They pry said that just to give the coaches and fighters some air time to show off their grappling...and some sort of comradery (spelling?) lol. They have their own program called the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program aka the "MCMAP". Its a mix of pretty much every form of martial arts, and they have their own belt system for it. I found that pretty cool. Them saying they dont teach ground stuff is a lie though lol thats a big part of it.

| Ya I noticed that too. I watched the Army Combative finals on HDnet once and they talked about how little striking they train. Everything ends up on the ground and in an ally in Kabul no one has takedown defense. | |

| Yeah, marines with thorough training in the MCMAP would be able to hurt you very badly, paralyze you, or kill you on the ground in an instant depending on what they wanted to do.
I wouldnt fuck with em lol
